Annual backflow testing is required in Washington state for anyone that has an irrigation system. The backflow preventer keeps the water from returning to the drinking water after it has moved into the irrigation system. A malfunctioning backflow preventer can compromise the quality and safety of the water you and your family enjoy. Each water district requires backflow test results submitted to them each year and have a variety of deadlines.
